1. Introduction
By submitting your works or purchasing publications through Hot Archive Press, you expressly agree to the following terms and conditions. Hot Archive Press is a publishing house dedicated to the publication of photographic books, magazines, and the promotion of contemporary photography.
2. Submissions and Criteria
Submissions are open to all. Photographers can submit photographic works through the Hot Archive Press website. All submissions must meet the technical and artistic criteria defined by the publisher. There are no fees for submitting photos to these publications.
3. Publication and Distribution Rights
By submitting your photos to Hot Archive Press, you grant Hot Archive Press the non-exclusive, irrevocable, and 5-year limited right to publish, distribute, display, and share your photos in physical publications (books and magazines) and on associated promotional platforms (website, social media, etc.). This right includes the use of your photos in print formats only.
4. Non-Modification Clause
Although Hot Archive Press reserves the right to use your photos, they will not be modified in a way that alters their artistic integrity, except when necessary for publication format (cropping, resizing, adjusting resolution, etc.).
5. Photographer Credit
Hot Archive Press commits to crediting the photographer by their name (first and last) when your photos are published in books, magazines, or on online platforms, unless this is technically impossible.
6. No Compensation
No compensation will be provided for photos submitted to Black Photography Magazine. The submission of photos is free and constitutes an agreement for publication without financial compensation.
7. Duration of the Agreement
The publication agreement is valid for a period of 5 years from the submission date. After this period, your photos will no longer be used by Hot Archive Press, unless a request for extension or removal is made by the photographer.
8. Photo Removal
Photographers may request to remove their photos from the Hot Archive Press website and social media platforms at any time during the duration of the agreement. To do so, a formal request must be submitted through the "CONTACT" section of the website. Once the removal request is validated, the photo will be removed as soon as possible. Hot Archive Press will not be held responsible for the use of the photo before the removal request is processed.
9. Intellectual Property and Warranties
You guarantee that you are the exclusive copyright holder of the photos submitted to Hot Archive Press and that these photos do not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights. In the event of any claims or disputes related to your photos, you agree to indemnify Hot Archive Press against any legal action or claims.
10. Liability and Limitation of Liability
Hot Archive Press will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use or inability to use the submitted photos, nor for errors or technical issues concerning the quality of the submitted photos.
11. Force Majeure
Hot Archive Press will not be held responsible for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations if such failure or delay is caused by an event of force majeure, including but not limited to technical failures, power outages, strikes, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen event beyond its reasonable control.
12. Consent for Promotional Use
By submitting your photos, you also consent to Hot Archive Press using your photos for promotional purposes (advertisements, flyers, social media, etc.). The use will be strictly associated with the promotion of Hot Archive Press and its activities.
13. Personal Data

Hot Archive Press collects and processes your personal data solely for the purpose of managing photo submissions and publications. This includes your name, contact details, and any other relevant data you provide during submission.

We will retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the objectives outlined above.

All submissions, contracts, and relationships resulting from the use of the site will be governed by French law. Any dispute related to these terms will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Nanterre, France.
21. Shipping and delivery
Delivery Areas
Products are shipped worldwide unless otherwise specified.
If a delivery restriction arises for a specific country, the Company reserves the right to cancel the order and contact the customer.
Shipping Method
Only standard delivery is available.
Shipping fees are calculated based on weight (in pounds) and the geographical delivery area.
Delivery Times
Delivery times range from 6 to 30 business days, depending on the destination country.
These times are indicative and may be extended in cases of force majeure.
Responsibility
The Company is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or customs formalities.
